Hue to host 2018 International U21 Football Tournament

HNN.VN - On the morning of November 23, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Dung said that after the success of Thanh Nien Newspaper National U19 and U21 Football Tournament, Thua Thien Hue would continue to host the 2018 International U21 Football Tournament.

The 2018 International U21 Football Tournament, with the competition of four teams from Malaysia, Myanmar, South Korean students, and Vietnamese selected U21 team, will be launched on December 12 at Tu Do Stadium. On the opening and closing days, there will be board track motorcycle performances to serve the fans.

The selected U21 team of Vietnam has 22 players, including 20 ones from Hanoi, Binh Duong, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Viettel, and Dak Lak; and two remaining players are from Thua Thien Hue, who are Nguyen Van Sang, and Nguyen An. Deputy Head of Hue Football Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tuan said that the “hottest” player of Hue football club was then Tran Thanh, who was a bit out of shape, so that he was not named in the selection list.
