Hue City: Heading towards the sustainable smart urban development
TTH.VN - Continuing the forum “Hue - Creativity for Sustainable Development” in 2022 held by the Provincial Research and Development Institute, on the afternoon of December 16, the international forum “Developing Smart Urban for Thua Thien Hue” offered solutions for Thua Thien Hue to develop sustainably in the direction of a smart urban.

Accordingly, the forum focused on discussing the policies, orientations, models, and typical domestic and foreign technologies related to smart urban such as Pillars to support smart urban businesses; the trend of global cloud technology; the trend of global AI/ML technology; smart urban and technology center applied for Thua Thien Hue, etc.
Various helpful suggestions of experts from ADB, UNDP, Google Cloud Vietnam, Bespin Global, Architecture and Urban Research Institute (AURI), Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), etc., gave the practical overviews and experiences for Thua Thien Hue to build up the smart urban methodically following the planning, as the same time manage the development of smart urban to the roadmap.
The forum also opened the new cooperation directions in the work of researching, constructing and developing smart urban in Thua Thien Hue on the basis of preserving and promoting the values of the Ancient Capital’s heritage and Hue Cultural Identity.
In the framework of the forum, the units including Thua Thien Hue Research and Development Institute and Korean Architecture and Urban Research Institute; Hue University and Bespin Global; Thua Thien Hue Center for Information Technology and Bespin Global also signed agreements on cooperation in the coming time.
