Cuba ready to send doctor delegation to support Thua Thien Hue

At the working session, Ms. Indira Lopez Arguelles said that Cuba was re-establishing a new situation after the COVID-19 pandemic, and promoting production and business activities. She wishes the two countries of Cuba and Vietnam will strengthen their bilateral relationship and promote the fields of investment, trade exchange and establishment of joint venture enterprises. At the same time, there are preferential policies for Vietnamese enterprises to invest in industrial zones in Cuba.

Ms. Indira Lopez Arguelles affirmed that, in the coming time, Cuba would promote the cooperation with Thua Thien Hue on its fields of strength such as health; and the country was ready to send Cuban doctor delegation to work in the province. At the same time, Cuba will strengthen the cooperation in the fields of investment and business of the two countries’ enterprises.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh thanked the Consulate General of the Republic of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City for visiting and working in Hue, sharing the difficulties of the pandemic and natural disasters with the province. He also affirmed that the fine traditional relationship between Cuba and Vietnam had been fostered throughout the history, affirmed by the immortal statement of former Cuban President Fidel Castro that “For Viet Nam, Cuba is ready to donate its blood”.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the province was speeding up the investment promotion, with the priority given to the enterprises investing in clean, high-tech, and environmentally friendly industries. He wishes Cuban enterprises will invest in the province and it will provide many preferential policies.

As Cuban health sector gaining many outstanding achievements, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee desired to have a specific cooperation, especially in the fields of health and pharmaceutical processing. On the other hand, he wishes to have the cooperation in culture, tourism and exchange between Cuban localities and Hue, and vice versa. The Vice Chairman has also invited Cuban art groups to Hue to perform at the Festivals.
