Boston City (The United States) wants to build a cooperative relationship with Hue

At the reception, Mr. Peter Welsh expressed his pleasure to visit Hue. Mr. Peter Welsh said that Boston is Massachusetts's largest city, and one of the United States’ richest ancient cities, with the economy based primarily on education, health, finance and high tech. Because he used to be the efficient assistant of Boston’s Mayor, Mr. Peter Welsh expressed his desire to provide a link and suggested building a cooperative relationship between Thua Thien Hue and Boston.

Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Cao said that Thua Thien Hue province and Boston city have many similarities in history, culture, and both are the cultural, educational, tourist center of their country. Thua Thien Hue province also expected to further expand cooperative relationships to enhance cultural exchanges and promote socio-economic development. Hopefully, with his prestige, Mr. Peter Welsh will provide the link in the cooperation between Thua Thien Hue and Boston in the future.
