The first time to welcome visitors to Hue on the “charter” train

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of April 30th, the Department of Tourism, the Provincial Tourism Association, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center cooperated with Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club to organize a welcoming ceremony for the first group of visitors to Hue under the 2021 Train Travel Stimulus Program at Ngo Mon (Noon Gate), Hue Imperial City.

The group of nearly 200 tourists departed from Hanoi to Hue on the "charter" train (round-trip rental) under the 2021 Train Travel Stimulus Program, on the Discovery Tour to Provinces in the Central Region, which was organized by Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club, in cooperation with Hanoi Railway Joint Stock Company (HARACO) and partners providing accommodation, transportation and catering services, etc., in Hue.

The group of tourists received the warm welcome, flowers and souvenirs from the Department of Tourism, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and other related units. Afterwards, the group enjoyed the reenactment of several royal living activities of the Nguyen Dynasty, such as the “Changing the Guard” ceremony at Ngo Mon and the performance of Hue Royal Court Music at Duyet Thi Duong (Royal Theater). The group also enjoyed visiting the Imperial City while hearing about the history and value of heritage, architecture, etc.

Faced with complicated developments of the pandemic, the Department of Tourism, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the "coalition" to stimulate train travel have closely coordinated and fully implemented precautions and safety measures against the pandemic when organizing the tour for the group of visitors to Hue on the “charter" train.

Also on this occasion, the Department of Tourism issued the Code of Conduct in Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province, for widely publicizing on media channels, social networks, and sending to travel agencies as well as visitors to Hue.

After welcoming the first group of visitors on the “charter” train right on the occasion of this April 30th - May 1st, Hue will continue to welcome 6 - 8 consecutive trains from now to August 2021, under the Tourism Stimulus Program which has been signed beforehand.
