Vietravel Airlines choosing Phu Bai International Airport as its headquarters
In December, Vietravel Airlines quickly completed the aircraft fleet preparation phase for three A321 CEO aircraft. The first aircraft arrived in Vietnam on December 5th; the next aircraft are expected to arrive (in Vietnam) on December 24th/25th, 2020 and January 10th, 2021.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines, said: “The aviation project is an important factor in the chain of large-scale investments of the corporation in Hue City. In order to build a complete tourism - aviation ecosystem, Vietravel Holdings ensures that the operational process is closely linked with local organizations and agencies, which positively contributes to the development of domestic tourism in general, and Hue tourism in particular."
Present at the welcoming ceremony for the aircraft of Vietravel Airlines, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the first landing of the aircraft No. A321 CEO at Phu Bai International Airport marked an important milestone in the service economy of Thua Thien Hue province. By choosing Phu Bai International Airport as the airport base of Vietnam Travel Aviation Company Limited (Vietravel Airlines) with the investment scale that meets international standards, the Provincial People's Committee hopes that, despite being a newly established airline, Vietravel Airlines will bring great experiences to visitors with professional and dedicated service.
“On the side of Thua Thien Hue province, we are committed to providing the most favorable conditions for Vietravel to quickly and timely implement projects that are and will be invested in the province, in order to contribute to creating a driving force for the quick recovery of the provincial tourism and service industry after the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh.
