Hue destination widely promoted through the Visit Vietnam Year

HNN.VN - This is one of many outstanding achievements shared at the Review Conference for the Visit Vietnam Year - Hue 2025. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MoCST) in coordination with Hue City People's Committee on the morning of December 19.

Many outstanding achievements

According to the tourism sector, more than 170 national and local events were held within the framework of the Visit Vietnam Year - Hue 2025. In his welcoming remarks, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan stated that in 2025, Hue welcomed more than 6.3 million tourist arrivals, an increase of over 61% compared to 2024; of which international arrivals exceeded 1.9 million; total tourism revenue was estimated at over VND 13 trillion, the highest level ever recorded.

Cultural values were integrated into programs and activities in the Visit Vietnam Year - Hue 2025

With its ripple effects, the Visit Vietnam Year - Hue 2025 also contributed to raising awareness of the role of tourism in socio-economic development across sectors and levels, especially among local residents. The Visit Vietnam Year has been held in various localities since 2003. It is a signature cultural, economic, and social event of national and international scale, and also the largest annual tourism event of Vietnam’s tourism sector, held in many major provinces and cities across the country.

The Chairman of Hue City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals for outstanding achievements in coordinating the organization of the Visit Vietnam Year - Hue 2025, as well as to 4 local collectives and 6 individuals for excellent performance in advisory and organizational work for the event.
