Over nearly 70 years of development, Hue University has built a strong foundation in education, scientific research and intellectual talent. At noon on August 23, the 2nd Capital Cup-2026 - Hue Dancesport Festival officially kicked off at Aeon Mall Hue. As part of Hue Sports Festival 2026, the tournament was jointly held by Hue Talent Club, Hoang Sy Clubs, LTD Danang Recreational Sport Choreography Company Limited, and Aeon Mall Hue.

Taking place from August 22 to 26 at Ba Cong artificial turf field, the Hue City 7-a-side Football Tournament - Huda Cup 2026 is organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Leano Group Tourism Media Co., Ltd. The tournament is one of the 19 activities within the Hue Sports Festival 2026.

Drawing inspiration from renowned artists with the combination of traditional materials, the child artists had the chance to experience an inspiring creative journey. Each artwork presented to the public not only showcased the children’s artistic talent but also conveyed a unique message of its own.

Ung Binh Thuc Gia Thi (1877 - 1961) was “a gifted talent renowned across the country, illustrious in poetry, and highly accomplished in dramatic arts”. He was an intellectual born on March 9, 1877, in Vy Da village, into a royal family of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Despite being widely recognized for its deep-rooted football tradition, Hue has struggled for years with the thorny issue of retaining young talents. Numerous players nurtured by local training centers have moved on upon reaching a critical stage of development, steadily eroding the pool of successors for Hue football.
