I remember the first time I tried this dish was at the Thuy Bieu Thanh Tra Festival in 2022. Walking amidst the shimmering green and golden-yellow stalls of this special local fruit, I picked up a small bag of candied thanh tra peel before heading home. To this day, the flavor of that simple yet rustic treat lingers in my memory.

Mirror candy has a transparent appearance, resembling a small mirror and I found out and interesting thing is that most traditional candies from the Imperial City of Hue are named after the shape or form of their appearance, such as betel nut candy, ginger candy, hammer candy, and mirror candy... These names are unique, simple, and easy to remember.

On the afternoon of March 17, at 3/2 Park, Thua Thien Hue Music Association coordinated with the Vietnam Musicians Association’s branch in Thua Thien Hue province to organize a free music night themed "Remembering Trinh Cong Son".

The program offered the public various songs by the musician Trinh Cong Son that has tugged at the public’s heartstrings, such as: Hue - Saigon - Hanoi, Quynh Huong, Dau chan dia dang, Mua hong, etc.

I remember watching exciting robocon matches broadcast live on television in the mid-2010s. The robots created by undergraduates were able to pick up the ball, play badminton, beat the drums, etc., which attracted many pupils and students at that time. Since then, many have always dreamed of enjoying the atmosphere on that robot arena once.

"Hue - Saigon - Hanoi" was the theme of Trinh Cong Son's music night taking place on the evening of June 27 at Ngo Mon Square. This was one of the highly anticipated programs at Hue Festival 2022 and was also a music night to celebrate the 21st anniversary of remembering Trinh Cong Son, organized by the family of the late musician.
