On the afternoon of August 19, the City Military Command, the Standing Agency of the City’s Steering Committee 515, completed the final handover of martyrs’ remains samples to Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), on the afternoon of July 21, the city leaders visited and presented gifts to families of people with meritorious service to the revolution in several localities, and encouraged the teams currently tasked with searching for and repatriating martyrs’ remains.

On the afternoon of July 14, a delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, and socio-political organizations, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Team 192, who are carrying out the “500 days and nights campaign to search, recover, and identify martyrs’ remains”.
