On the afternoon of June 14th, the Hue’s ‘Heritage Doors’ exhibition opened at Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, introducing the public to dozens of remarkable artworks inspired by the heritage of the Ancient Capital. The event is part of Hue Festival 2026 and serves as a major artistic highlight attracting art enthusiasts, visitors, and members of the creative community.

Moving beyond ceremonial settings and enclosed stages within heritage spaces, Hue International Music Week 2026, a highlight of Hue Festival 2026, is designed to engage the wider community through music.

More than 142 visually impaired women have received vocational training, and over 68,000 gift packages have been distributed; these were among the notable achievements highlighted at the conference reviewing 10 years of implementing the coordinated support program for visually impaired women (2016 - 2026 period), and the five-year review of the Compassionate Homes program, held on the morning of June 2 at the City Association of the Blind.

As part of Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week 2026 will take place from June 13 to 18 on the riverside stage along the Huong River, in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. The annual April 30th reunion of our middle school friends from Thanh Thuy Ward had a special highlight this year. Before heading to Vinh Thanh beach (Phu Vinh Commune), we made a detour to visit the Thuan An overpass bridge on the very day of its official technical opening. The 3rd HTA Group Cup Football Tournament – 2026 kicked off on the afternoon of May 7 at Green City Stadium (My Thuong Ward, Hue City).
