On the afternoon of November 21st, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held a workshop titled: “Solutions to Improve the Qualifications of Research work force, Technology, and Business Management Personnel to Apply and Master High Technology and Advanced Technology in Order to Increase Productivity and Quality of Key Products in the City, Aiming toward Developing National Products”. The discussion focused on solutions to elevate Hue cajeput essential oil into a national-level product.

On July 12, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University (HUET) announced its new training programs in Microchip Design Technology, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology. On the afternoon of July 10th, the Department of Finance, in coordination with Luxembourg Project Management Board, Project Technical Support Office, and Mekong Herbals Joint Stock Company (Mekong Herbals), held a contract signing ceremony for the production and consumption of organic standard hibiscus flowers with households in Phong Thai and Phong Dien Wards.

In mid-June, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University (HUET) held a graduation ceremony for its first 66 new engineers, marking a significant milestone in training and supplying high-quality human resources in the fields of engineering and technology for the Central - Central Highlands region and the entire country.

On the afternoon of June 24, Hue Central Hospital announced the successful performance of a hip and femur replacement surgery using a Megaprosthesis. This advanced technique preserves the limb for patients in the field of orthopedic trauma surgery.
