On October 31st, the 2025 Golf Course Owners - Vietnam Golf Tourism Development Conference was held at Laguna Lang Co, marking a strategic milestone as government representatives, investors, and international experts agreed on a Vision 2030 for sustainable development of golf tourism - emphasizing identity and quality as the foundation of Vietnam’s national competitiveness.

With its unique characteristics, Golf is “carrying” quite a few “responsibilities” on its shoulders as it serves both as a sport and as a catalyst, contributing to promoting high-quality tourism growth, expanding resort real estate space, increasing commercial and service value, and elevating destination brands internationally.

Golf tourism is increasingly becoming a driving force behind high-quality travel, attracting tourists who are willing to spend, including those from international markets. Hue has shown interest in developing this form of tourism, yet much work remains to be done to achieve greater effectiveness.

On November 28, nearly 100 travel agencies and hotel businesses from Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City surveyed the Golden Sands Golf Resort golf course (located in Vinh Xuan and Vinh Thanh communes, Phu Vang district) to explore cooperation opportunities and promote the robust development of golf tourism in the coming time.

According to experts, the number of tourists choosing golf tourism products is growing rapidly, illustrating the potential for developing this industry. Hue is making efforts to call for investment, while at the same time, deploying many solutions to attract high-end tourists of this category.
