In the National Excellent Student Examination for the 2025-2026 academic year, Hue City won four First Prizes. Notably, Geography recorded its first-ever First Prize winner, while French returned to the highest podium position after many years, earning two First Prizes. These results reflect the sustained efforts of students from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, further enriching Hue’s distinguished educational record.

As part of the Book and Reading Culture Day program in 2025, on April 24, Hue City Library summarized a book cover design contest about Hue with the theme “Hue City, my hometown”.

Over the past 5 years, the spearhead education has undergone positive changes with many first prizes at the national exams for excellent students, and many subjects such as biology, informatics, and physics have made appearances at the Asian and international Olympiads.
