The launch of direct flights from Belarus to Vietnamese localities, especially Da Nang, is opening opportunities to attract Belarusian tourists to Hue along the Central Heritage Road.

Efforts to attract international tourists via direct air routes to and from Phu Bai International Airport have long been on the agenda, yet significant obstacles remain. While a number of charter flights have been introduced, their short-lived operation has put Hue at a competitive disadvantage in drawing tourists.

On January 10, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietjet Air, KX Group (South Korea), SMC Hue Co., Ltd. (South Korea), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietravel Hue One Member Limited Company and related units to organize direct flights connecting Thua Thien Hue and Incheon (South Korea).
