On the morning of January 9, the Department of Tourism in collaboration with Chan May Port Joint Stock Company and Saigontourist Travel Services Co., Ltd held a program of welcoming the first cruise ship and tourists to Hue City by sea in 2025.

A positive signal at the beginning of 2024 is that many travel companies have registered to bring cruise travel tourists to Chan May port. The remaining challenge is how to attract more high-end tourists to visit, experience, and “spend money” in Hue City.

After nearly 3 years, the first cruise ship has just returned to Hue, and cruise travel is expected to recover better from 2023.
