From February 7th to March 8th, 2026 (from the 20th day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 20th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse), all bus terminals in Hue City enter their peak period to meet the surge in travel demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet).

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The dedication of civil servants and volunteers, along with the application of technology, has made a positive impression, helping residents quickly adapt to the administrative procedures under the new two-tier local government system.

Those very familiar everyday small objects such as straws and bottle caps could take from 100 to 500 years to decompose; while it takes from 500 to 1,000 years for the flimsy plastic bags, and from 50 to 200 years for convenient foam cups to decompose, etc. Our environment and health are extremely negatively affected by plastic waste.
