The Shuttlecock Kicking Tournament of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025–2026) opened on the morning of October 15 at Canh Buom Sport Hall (100 Pham Van Dong Street), bringing together 51 athletes from Hue University, Binh Dien Commune, Phu Xuan Ward, and Phu Bai Ward to compete.

A section of Hue Imperial Citadel wall collapsed after days of heavy rain and flooding. The fallen section, about 15 meters long, is located on the northern side of Hue Imperial City, next to the park along Dang Thai Than Street (Phu Xuan Ward).

In mid-July, Ngoc Khanh Hat boi and Tuong co Troupe (hat boi and tuong co are types of Vietnamese classical opera) and others from the South gave two performances at Thanh Binh Tu Duong, also known as Thanh Binh Tu. The ancestral house, which is located in Alley 281 on Chi Lang Street, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, is dedicated to founding fathers of tuong. This house of great historical and cultural value has been recognized as National Heritage Site.
