On September 30, a working delegation from Hue City People's Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, along with Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, inspected the erosion situation along the Bo River, the O Lau River, and the restoration efforts following the aftermath of Typhoon No. 10 in several localities.

On the afternoon of July 24th, Mr. Le Ba Minh Hai - Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Bai Ward, presented a certificate of commendation to Mr. Tran Van Phi (born in 1999, residing in An Ha Hamlet, My Thuong Ward, Hue City) for his courageous act of rescuing a drowning child.

Noticeable was the opening of the oil painting exhibition by Hoang Nhu Thuy An at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. Hoang Nhu Thuy An is Hoang Nhu Bua’s pseudonym, born in 1948, originally from Cau Hai (Cao Do) in Phu Loc, Hue, but currently living in Da Lat. The special thing is that all those paintings were painted after his stroke culminating in hemiplegia. He has learnt to paint with his left hand since then.

As a “pillar of the community” with over 40 years of experience, Nguyen Ha (Giang Hai, Phu Loc) is not only revered for his deft hands but also respected by fellow fishermen for his dedication to the craft of net weaving and his journeys on the open sea.

On November 24, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh attended the ceremony on planting trees to embellish Kim Phung Mountain.

This was a directive given by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Hai Minh, during an inspection of the erosion situation in Phu Thuan Commune, Phu Vang District on the morning of October 22.

After waiting for nearly 2 hours on the beach of Giang Hai Commune (Phu Loc), Mr. Thuan started to collect the net. Ironically, the net only had a few small fish when he pulled it up. Meanwhile, just a few hundred meters away, Mr. Hai's net was full of fish waiting to be picked.

At 8 p.m. Tram and her friends were present on the coast in Giang Hai (Phu Loc). They thought they were early, but in the dim light of flashlights, they saw tens of people already there choosing the best herrings.

Diving right at the foot of the coastal rock embankment in Giang Hai commune (Phu Loc), precisely at the moment when the waves had not yet reached, Mr. Hung extended his hands into every crevice. In just a moment, he firmly held in his hand a stone crab (Gecarcoidea) with its two large claws.

In Phu Hai, a commune “where the waves end in the land of Phu Vang district”, there is a “Heart of the sea” quietly cherishing itself to keep life forever vibrant.
