On the afternoon of November 23rd, a ceremony was held with great dignity at Thai Hoa Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel to inaugurate Thai Hoa Palace and receive the UNESCO Documentary Heritage Recognition Certificate for “The bas-reliefs on the Nine Dynastic Urns at the Imperial Palace of Hue”.

The Nine Dynastic Urns were recognized as a National Treasure in 2012. On May 8, in the capital city of Mongolia, the “Bronze castings on the Nine Dynastic Urns at the Imperial Citadel of Hue” officially became a documentary heritage of UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme for the Asia - Pacific Region.

From May 6th to May 10th the plenary session of the Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific (MOWCAP 2024) will take place in Mongolia (MOWCAP 2024). This year, in the Asia-Pacific region, among the 20 submitted dossiers is the dossier about the Nine Dynastic Urns of the Nguyen Dynasty from Hue, Vietnam.

At 13:09 on May 8th (local time), in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Vietnam's dossier "Bronze castings on the Nine Dynastic Urns at the Imperial Citadel of Hue" was approved and officially became a documentary heritage of UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme for the Asia-Pacific Region.

Inspired by patterns on Nine Dynastic Urns of the Nguyen Dynasty, which located in Hue Imperial Citadel, nearly 60 wood engraving artworks have been curated and introduced to the public on the morning of March 19th at Le Ba Dang Art Center (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City).
