On the morning of September 9, at the Center for Conservation of Vietnam natural resources and Phong Dien rescue of animals and plants, the Vietnam National Museum of Nature - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology held the opening ceremony of the Natural History Exhibition Room.

The Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with a team of experts from the National Museum of History, has commenced the second phase of archaeological surveying and excavation at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site.

Over the past 20 days (starting from March 20th), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with National Museum of History, has completed archaeological excavations at three test pits in the Dai Cung Mon area.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has issued Decision No. 1266/QĐ-BVHTTDL allowing Hue Monuments Conservation Center to collaborate with the National Museum of History to conduct archaeological excavations at the Dai Cung Mon Gate site in Hue Imperial City.

Within the framework of the implementation of the national-level independent project on “Studying and evaluating the current status of the avifauna, and proposing solutions for management and conservation of bird species in coastal lagoon area in Central Vietnam”, which is presided over by the Central Coast Natural History Museum, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and implemented by Dr. Ho Thang, the project leader, the research team has recorded the glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) for the first time in the O Lau estuary of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon.

On April 22nd, Thua Thien Hue History Museum announced that as part of the activities for National Tourism Year 2024 and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Dien Bien, the museum has brought the exhibition “Hue - Cultural heritage, Potential destination” to the public.

Marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Musée Khai Dinh - Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities (August 24, 1923 - August 24, 2023), on the afternoon of August 24th, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities in collaboration with the National Museum of History organized an exhibition at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, showcasing the treasures of Emperor Khai Dinh - the one who contributed to the "birth" of the museum. In attendance was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary Phan Ngoc Tho.
