On the morning of May 28th, the “Hue – A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the People's Committee of Phu An Commune (Phu Vang District), launched a plastic-reduced tourism site at Chuon Lagoon.

Being around 15km away to the East of Hue City Center, Chuon Lagoon is the most beautiful location to contemplate the sunrise in Tam Giang lagoon system.

With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). With its rich and captivating beauty, Chuon lagoon resembles a painting of nature adorned with refreshing shades of blue from the sky and water.

With his invention, young engineer Hoang Huu Dao (born in 1983, residing at 60 Phan Chu Trinh, Hue City) has supported the transportation of goods, liberating many workers and shippers across the country from labor. His product has by degrees grown and affirmed the “brand” with many convenient “Loc Phat (Prosperity) Motorbike Cargo Rack” lines.

Notably, this was the first exhibition to display the horizontal lacquered board of Vien Thong Pagoda presented by Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu, the scriptures whose printing and circulation sponsored by Patriarch Thiet Dieu Lieu Quan, the Tu Dung steles and many other precious artifacts, etc.

Hue’s Western Quarter, including three main streets of Pham Ngu Lao, Chu Van An, and Vo Thi Sau, is a favorite stopover for many domestic and foreign visitors, especially at the end of the day, and the weekends.

Not similar to the “Western Street” (the Pham Ngu Lao - Chu Van An - Vo Thi Sau Walking Street) and Hue Imperial City Night Street, Hai Ba Trung Walking Street is expected to be a bustling shopping street, serving the needs of nightlife entertainment for the locals and visitors, which is also a venue of cultural, artistic and street music activities.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is under control and travelling is more convenient, many families are able to gather together this year. Sticky rice, Dong leaves, mung beans, and meat are prepared for everyone to wrap banh chung, and being together in a cozy and beloved atmosphere on the last days of the year.
