The teams of doctors and medical staff at local health stations play the role of “gatekeepers” of the healthcare system, helping to reduce the burden on higher-level hospitals and bringing healthcare services closer to the residents.

On March 7th, in Huong An Ward, the Youth Union of Huong An Ward, in coordination with Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Greenfeed Vietnam Joint Stock Company and Hue Youth Union, organized a program to provide livelihood support to disadvantaged households in the area, helping residents develop their economy and stabilize their lives.

On the morning of February 11 (December 24th in the Year of the Snake), at the courtyard of the Thai Hoa Palace (Hue Imperial Citadel), the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre organized a reenactment of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Imperial New Year court ceremony. The event attracted large numbers of local residents and visitors, helping to recreate the traditional Lunar New Year atmosphere within the historic royal court setting.

From February 7 to 15, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th to 28th days of the Lunar December of the Year of At Ty), the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward will organize the “Hoa Chau Tet Festival” along Bao Vinh Pedestrian Street. The event will feature a wide range of distinctive cultural and community activities, helping to create a lively and joyful atmosphere for residents in celebration of the traditional Tet holiday of Binh Ngo 2026.

For more than two decades, Hue City Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin has not only accompanied and shared the pain of more than 3,200 victims, but has also served as a compassionate home. Held for the first time in Hue City, the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 (taking place from December 10th to 12th) not only contributes to honoring Vietnamese tea culture but also is expected to serve as an important starting point, laying the foundation for the formation of a profound cultural, artistic, and tourism-oriented annual event, helping enrich Hue’s identity and enhance its attractiveness.

Following severe floods, numerous relief convoys, volunteer groups, and meaningful gifts have been delivered directly to people in deeply flooded areas in Hue. These “golden hearts” have instilled faith and motivation, helping them stand firm against difficulties and rebuild a peaceful life during the Great National Solidarity Festival (November 18).

International cooperation programs in the health sector have brought practical benefits to Hue City, achieving “three goals with one action”: creating opportunities for medical staff to improve their skills; helping thousands of patients access advanced treatment techniques; and strengthening the reputation of medical institutions.

The recent floods caused severe damage not only in lowland areas but also in mountainous regions. Local authorities are making every effort to repair infrastructure and supply food and clean water to isolated communities.
