The exhibition, through the language of photography, aims to strengthen Hue City's cultural diplomacy and expand cooperation with diplomatic missions of ASEAN countries in Vietnam. It will also help promote Hue as a heritage city and a distinctive Festival City of Vietnam, as well as an attractive cultural and tourism destination in the Central region. ​

The 8th ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference (AHP8) was hosted by Vietnam in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) from December 2 to 5, organized through the Department of Nature Conservation and Biodiversity, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. At this event, Bach Ma National Park was honored to be presented with the ASEAN Heritage Park certificate.

On October 21 in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) organized a workshop titled “Guidelines and Implementation Roadmap for the ASEAN Eco-School Criteria – Towards Plastic-Free Schools” as part of the ASEAN Eco-School Awards Vietnam 2025. On the morning of August 28th in Hue City, the Vietnam Tobacco Control Fund (VNTCF), Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), organized the opening of the 9th ASEAN Regional Conference on creating a smoke-free environment.

On June 29, a cultural exchange activity between Hue City and the cultural tourism delegation of Nanning (Nam Ninh) City (China) took place at Duyen Thi Duong Theater. This event marked the beginning of China - ASEAN cultural exchange program 2025 in Vietnam.

That was the main content of the assessment session for the Mathematics Teacher Education program in accordance with ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) set of standards, organized by University of Education, Hue University on March 4.

On December 27th, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, in collaboration with “For Green Future” Foundation (Vingroup), held the 2024 Vietnam ASEAN Eco-schools awards ceremony in Hanoi.

For the 3rd time in a row, Hue City won the ASEAN Clean Tourism City Award - an opportunity for Hue's tourism sector to effectively market its tourism business activities. With many solutions adopted by the province, maintaining the clean tourism city brand is also synonymous with strong growth in harmony with sustainable criteria.

On the morning of February 4th, at Trinh Cong Son Park, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the announcement ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards 2024 and launched the Green Sunday event across the entire city.
