On the morning of November 12th, Hue University of Sciences, Hue University held a program to present scholarships and support gifts to students in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses during the floods at the end of October and early November.

On September 16th, Hue City Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that it had submitted a proposal to Hue City People’s Committee for approval of the investment policy for building the new Vinh Tu bridge across Tam Giang lagoon, connecting Quang Dien commune with Phong Quang ward. The project’s total investment is estimated at over 1.500 billion VND.

On July 18th and 19th, the 2nd Vietnam Hernia Conference took place at the Training and Direction Center of Hue Central Hospital, co-organized by the hospital and the Vietnam Hernia Society. Hue Students Football Tournament 2025, competing for the Ba Na Hills Cup, kicked off in the afternoon of April 15 at the football field of Phu Xuan District’s Culture, Information & Sports Center (150 Nguyen Trai Street). The tournament is jointly organized by Hue University and Professional Sports Association and School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University.

In the framework of the 2025 Open Day Festival, on April 13, the University of Agriculture and Forestry welcomed teachers and 150 students from Nguyen Chi Thanh High school.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, during the nine-day Lunar New Year of the Snake (At Ty)holiday from January 25th to February 2nd (December 26th to the January 5th in the lunar calendar), Hue welcomed an estimated 150,300 visitors, marking a nearly 37% increase compared to the same period during the Year of the Dragon Tet holiday in 2024.

At this year's Festival, visitors and local people will be able to admire generations of artisans doing their crafts and experiencing many craft activities from the central and surrounding areas of Hue city.
