On the afternoon of December 21, Hue City Department of Health organized the 2025 Child Drowning Prevention Knowledge and Skills Contest. This is a practical activity aimed at raising awareness and equipping students with water safety skills, while spreading the responsibility of families, schools, and the whole society in protecting children from the risk of drowning.

On the afternoon of November 16, the City Civil Defense Command issued an order to regulate the operation of the two hydropower reservoirs, Binh Dien and Huong Dien, in response to heavy rain.

According to statistics from the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Dien District, as of June 18, more than 2,377 hectares of rice and vegetables in the district remain submerged due to the impact of the recent floods.
