On the afternoon of September 4th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, held a meeting with the leaders of Viet Personal Mobility Co., Ltd. (PM). The discussion centered on green transportation and the "Clean & Green Smart Hue City" project.

With his invention, young engineer Hoang Huu Dao (born in 1983, residing at 60 Phan Chu Trinh, Hue City) has supported the transportation of goods, liberating many workers and shippers across the country from labor. His product has by degrees grown and affirmed the “brand” with many convenient “Loc Phat (Prosperity) Motorbike Cargo Rack” lines.

This is the topic of a media creativity contest, which is organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to promote and raise the awareness of green transportation in Hue City.

On the afternoon of November 1, in Hanoi, the provincial delegation, led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh, had a working session with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the contents related to projects on planning, green transportation and climate change. Mr. Shantanu Chakraborty, the ADB Country Director for Vietnam, worked with the delegation.

After more than a day of transportation, the two bears rescued in Hanoi were brought to Vietnam Bear Rescue Center II at Bach Ma National Park on the afternoon of October 3. These are also the first two bears received by this center.
