After nearly two-thirds of the journey of the National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025, Hue’s tourism industry has recorded many positive results. Speaking with Hue Today Weekly, Director of Hue Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram said that the NTY has not only brought strong growth in visitor numbers but also created a ripple effect in destination branding and in positioning the tourism identity of the Ancient Capital among businesses and tourists.

The Department of Tourism has reported that during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon), the number of tourists visiting Hue for sightseeing and experiences has significantly increased compared to that of the same period in 2023, with many accommodation facilities fully booked during the festive days.

Hue tourism enjoys positive results in the first 6 months of the year, including increased visitor numbers, a substantial rise in revenue, and potentials of expanding into international tourist markets.
