Unable to rely solely on love for the craft or pride in the past, Hue’s craft villages must step beyond traditional pathways toward a new journey: Transforming production thinking, applying technology, embracing green transition, elevating quality, and telling cultural stories in more modern ways.

With the development trends of the new era, many craft villages have fallen into decline, with fragmented production, a lack of capital, and outdated technology. These difficulties are major barriers that cause traditional crafts to lose their place in today's socio-economic life gradually.

Building on digital citizens is a key factor that determines the success of the digital transformation revolution. In response to this urgent requirement, the “Digital Literacy for All” movement is seen as a practical and strategic initiative to popularize digital skills among the population. Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital has successfully applied a modified Stoppa surgical approach combined with personalized 3D printing technology to treat an acetabular fracture in a 68-year-old patient who suffered severe multiple injuries after a traffic accident. This was a complex surgery, marking an important advancement in managing pelvic injuries and opening opportunities to apply new techniques to improve treatment quality for patients.

On August 6th, Hue Central Hospital and FUJIFILM Vietnam Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step forward in professional development and the application of advanced technology in the field of endoscopy.

The Union of Science and Technology Associations of the city has just released the book: "Promoting the value of traditional Hue music in cultural and tourism development". The book, 300 pages long, is published by Thuan Hoa Publishing House.
