On the afternoon of November 2, a working delegation from the Ministry of Health, led by Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, Standing Deputy Head of the Civil Defense Steering Committee of the Ministry of Health, visited and worked with Hue Central Hospital to inspect the hospital’s efforts in responding and overcoming the aftermath of the floods.

On the afternoon of October 28, at the Military Command Headquarters of Salavan Province (Laos), a delegation from the Border Guard Command of Hue City and Quang Tri Province (Vietnam), led by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Toan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Hue City Border Guard Command, held their annual talk with a delegation from Salavan Provincial Military Command (Laos), headed by Colonel Sophaphoxay Nhavong, Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Political Commander of the Salavan Provincial Military Command.

On October 17, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in coordination with A Luoi Medical Center, organized a training course titled “Enhancing knowledge for school oral healthcare staff in 2025”, for school healthcare staff from the communes of A Luoi 1, 2, 3, 4, and A Luoi 5.

On October 8th, the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities, held the inauguration and handover ceremony of the Community Cultural House combined with flood shelter in A Den Hamlet, A Luoi 3 Commune.

On October 2, a team of doctors and medical staff from Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital organized a Community Dentistry program at Hue City Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund. This initiative was part of the 2025 community oral disease prevention plan implemented by the Hue City Department of Health.

On September 30th, the Ministry of Education and Training organized an online training workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of staff and teachers responsible for child protection in the online environment. In Hue, the workshop took place at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

Experts have been training and updating library staff nationwide on key issues related to the preservation of digital resources in library operations.

On the afternoon of July 21, Hue Central Hospital held a special discharge ceremony for four pediatric patients who had successfully undergone bone marrow transplants. Among them, three children with Thalassemia received allogeneic transplants, and one underwent the hospital’s 50th autologous transplant. This event not only marks a major advancement in medical expertise but also serves as vivid evidence of the tireless efforts of doctors and medical staff to provide better survival chances and quality of life for children with serious illnesses.

On the morning of July 11, Hue Central Hospital hosted the voluntary blood and platelet donation program titled “White Blouse - Pink Heart”, with the participation of 350 staff members and medical personnel currently working at the hospital. This annual event aims to help address the summer blood shortage while also promoting a spirit of compassion and solidarity within the medical community.

From June 23rd to 27th, 2025 Reconstructive Surgery Week at Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, co-organized with ReSurge International (USA), officially concluded, leaving a significant professional impact. The event not only successfully carried out 10 surgeries but also contributed to the training and technology transfer for dozens of Vietnamese doctors and medical staff.
