Hue City is gradually donning a new image - modern, dynamic, and strongly connected. In this flow of development, a series of large-scale, strategically planned projects are taking shape, turning the aspiration of Hue’s breakthrough growth into reality.

By the end of July 2025, Hue City no longer has any dilapidated, ramshackle houses. In their place now, stand new, solid houses - turning many families’ dream of stable housing into reality.

The “Hue - Mega Booming” music festival will take place at Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel over two nights, April 5th - 6th, 2025 (coinciding with the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day). The event will feature many young singers, with a special highlight being the appearance of the “Anh Trai Say Hi” (Say Hi with Bros) lineup - a well-known reality TV show about music.

The story of five siblings training and competing in the same sport might seem unprecedented in Vietnamese sports, but it is a reality in a family from Quang Dien District, Hue City.

That was our dreamlike headline - nearly 20 years ago when we first learned about Amsterdam, a famous city in the Netherlands with the highest rate of cyclists globally. But now, the dream of Hue having 1 million bicycles – even if just a symbolic number – is gradually becoming a reality.

On the afternoon of July 11, at the VR Virtual Reality Experience Center - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with IV COM Joint Stock Company launched the VR service product of Dau ho for visitors.

The outdoor exhibition at Phung Tien Palace, Hue Imperial City offered viewers an opportunity to learn about the architecture, spiritual life under the Nguyen Dynasty as well as the cultural, historical and artistic values of this era through virtual reconstruction combined with reality.

“Digital transformation, new technologies to support preservation and festivals” was the theme of the Conference on Connecting Reality and Digital in Thua Thien Hue Province. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Association for Information Processing, and Hue Center for Information and Technology (HueCIT) on October 12th. This conference was one of the practical initiatives in celebration of National Digital Transformation Day.

On the morning of December 20, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened an e-ticket system and XR virtual reality experience service in the Imperial Citadel.
