On December 11, the leader of the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports announced that Thua Thien Hue has been honored as one of the top 10 localities leading the Production Attraction Index (PAI) and film production environment in Vietnam.

The 2024 National Sambo Club Championship, co-organized by the Administration of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in Nam Dinh Province, closed on May 27. This is the first time the Sambo Club Championship has been organized on a national scale. Thua Thien Hue achieved a score of 69.19, ranking 8th in the PCI 2023. With this position, Thua Thien Hue dropped 2 places compared to 2022.
