According to the statistics of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, the number of tourists visiting Hue monuments in the first half of this year has increased sharply after the COVID-19 pandemic.

On July 23, a large number of tourists and local people came to the "Old Scent of the Ancient Village" Festival and had had interesting and unique experiences.

According to the Department of Tourism, the total number of tourists to Hue in the first half of 2022 reached more than 771 thousand people, an increase of more than 34% compared to the same period last year.

After more than 50 years, the road procession of Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) was re-enacted, starting from Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Place (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) to Nghinh Luong Dinh before boarding the boat to sail upstream to the temple. The long procession with more than 400 people going through the streets created an impressive sight, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to attend.
