That the preservation warehouse and the display system are all reused from the renovated old building, so it is not suitable for the museum's function, and although the equipment has been invested, it still does not meet the requirements of preserving artifacts. According to the leader of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the project of restoration and embellishment of Kien Trung Palace in the area of the Forbidden City of Hue Imperial Citadel, started in February 2019, is entering the finishing stage of decoration; and expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

On July 7, leaders of the Project Management Board on Improving Hue City Water Environment informed that the unit has started implementing the construction of the walking path along the Nhu Y River (Hue City) through the capital of nearly 260 billion VND sponsored by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
