On July 8, 2026, the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee issued Decision No. 2376/QD-UBND approving the Project ‘Exploiting and Promoting the Value of the Complex of Hue Monuments to 2035’.

The second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term is scheduled to take place on July 10th - 11th. The Council is expected to consider and adopt 21 important resolutions, focusing on public investment, finance and state budget, digital transformation, science and technology, social welfare, and policies for public officials and civil servants in the context of implementing the two-tier local government model.

As part of Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week 2026 will take place from June 13 to 18 on the riverside stage along the Huong River, in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted.
