In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. On the afternoon of June 6, the Board of Directors of Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony to celebrate the success of a liver transplant case. This was the hospital’s second pediatric liver transplant and the third cross-country liver transplant performed by the hospital, marking another milestone in humanitarian medical achievements and extending the hope of life for children suffering from severe liver diseases.

In recent years the city has continued to promote Hue as a tourist destination through social platforms and inspiring people such as bloggers, vloggers, KOLs, etc., with the hope of making Hue tourism more well known.

On the afternoon of December 29, at the Oncology Center (Hue Central Hospital), volunteers from the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project and Thua Thien Hue Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association organized a New Year's celebration for patients there.

On the morning of September 25th, the Center for Social Work and the Child Protection Fund (CSW-CPF), in collaboration with the Vietnam Child Protection Fund and the Hope Foundation, organized a scholarship award program for students with disabilities, agent orange victims from various districts, towns, and Hue City, as well as children of fishermen facing difficult circumstances in Quang Dien and Phu Loc districts.

Never before have the people of Hue Ancient Capital talked about so many traffic construction projects and works as they do now. Not only small roads but also many major roads have been opened, in hope that “large roads generate great wealth”, contributing to turning Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-governed city.

That is the sharing of Tung Leo – the Show Director of the music night themed “Dialogue with Trinh Cong Son - Love Found”, which took place in the space of Kien Trung Palace, during the recent Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024. He added: “I am indebted to and enamored of Hue City. I hope that I can come back here many times to organize different music nights in various locations in Hue.”
