On February 25th, the Social Charity Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Party Agencies of Hue City, the People’s Committee of Long Quang Commune, and the Long Quang Commune Youth Union, organized a Lunar New Year “lucky money” and gift-giving program for students of Thuong Quang Primary School.

On the afternoon of February 16th (the Tet Eve), Hue Central Hospital organized a Tet gift-giving program for inpatients on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

On the evening of February 12, at Phu Bai International Airport, the City Labor Federation organized a welcome and gift-giving program for union members and workers on the “Trade Union Flight - Spring 2026,” returning home to celebrate Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

Wanting to personally prepare meticulous Tet gifts, while “subtly showing off” their dexterity, many young people are making their own candied fruits and sweet treats for their families, for relatives and friends, or for small-scale sales.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, at noon on February 6th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, led a delegation of the City Party Committee to visit, offer incense in remembrance, and extend Tet greetings to veteran revolutionaries, former city leaders, and people with meritorious service to the revolution in the area.

On the morning of February 5, the City Red Cross Society hosted a central-level program titled “Humanitarian Tet” under the theme “Tet for Flood-Affected Communities”.

To share difficulties with people in disadvantaged circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on February 4th, Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup, in coordination with Hue Newspaper and Radio, Television, organized the presentation of Tet gifts to poor households in Hue City.

On the morning of January 31st, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) provided Tet gifts for residents of Hue City through Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Hue City. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of Hue City VFFC, attended the handover ceremony.

On January 30th, Hue Newspaper and Radio & Television Station organized a Tet gift-giving program for disadvantaged residents, sponsored by Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC.

On the afternoon of January 29, as part of the contest “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year, the City Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Mass Mobilization, in coordination with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, organized a working delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in My Thuong, Phu Ho, and Thanh Thuy wards and communes.
