On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), a delegation from the City People’s Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Chairman of the City People’s Committee held a memorial ceremony, laid wreaths, and offered incense at Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery and Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemetery.

Giving up a stable job in Da Nang City, Tran Huu Tri (born in 1995), from Ka Tu village, Huong Phu commune, Phuc Loc district (now part of Khe Tre commune), decided to return to his hometown to start a business with a farmstay model that combines organic farming and experiential tourism.

At the beginning of July, David Greilsammer - a renowned French pianist, delivered a captivating performance at Hue Academy of Music under the theme “Fairies, Dreams, and Dances”. This marked his second visit to the Ancient Capital.

Noticeable was the opening of the oil painting exhibition by Hoang Nhu Thuy An at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. Hoang Nhu Thuy An is Hoang Nhu Bua’s pseudonym, born in 1948, originally from Cau Hai (Cao Do) in Phu Loc, Hue, but currently living in Da Lat. The special thing is that all those paintings were painted after his stroke culminating in hemiplegia. He has learnt to paint with his left hand since then.

From specialized studios to cozy corners within homes, from open spaces by the beach and swimming pools to parks and grassy banks along the Perfume River, yoga has gently yet steadily become a part of daily life in Hue, just like the very essence of this unique practice.

Hue Ancient Capital is a paradise for vegetarian cuisine. On the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month, even restaurants that usually serve meat often switch entirely to vegetarian dishes. This is hardly surprising, given that Hue is one of Vietnam’s major Buddhist centers, a land steeped in spiritual traditions, where eating vegetarian food has become a beautiful cultural feature.

An event celebrating the 10th International Day of Yoga - 2025 took place on the morning of July 13 at the square opposite Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. The event was organized by Linh Kha Yoga Club in coordination with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam.
