The Community Ao dai Week, which kicked off the Summer Festival 2025 in early June, has drawn a large number of designers, models, artists, cultural experts, and researchers, etc. Each participant acts as an ambassador, promoting Hue Ao dai in particular and the traditional Ao dai Vietnam in general.

According to a Washington D.C.-based Vietnam News Agency (VNA) correspondent, the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States has showcased the Nhat Binh Ao dai, part of a special collection by the designer Cao Minh Tien, at the Diplomatic Corps Fashion Exhibition and Gala in Washington D.C.

At the invitation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan to attend the International Gold Embroidery and Jewelry Festival, taking place from May 3 - 5 in Bukhara City, Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan Trang, artisan, designer, and Director of Doan Trang Embroidery and Sewing Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (at 2/56 Bach Dang Street, Gia Hoi Ward, Hue City), was honored to be the Vietnamese representative winning the third prize.

Following the success of previous collections such as “Xua va nay” (Past and Present), “Nhat Nguyet” (Sun and Moon), “Em den tu nghin xua” (You Come from Ancient Times), “Vu khuc gam lua” (Silk Dance), and “Bong - Hinh” (Shadow - Image), on the evening of December 14th, Trinh Hoang Dieu - a fashion designer, will unveil a new collection of Ao dai entitled “Mau thoi gian” (Colors of Time) at the art event and fashion show “Dieu - Mau thoi gian” (Dieu - Colors of Time) in Ho Chi Minh City.

Graduated from a pedagogy school, then attached to embroidery profession, yet the Director of Doan Trang Embroidery Trading & Service Co. Ltd. has an endless passion for Ao Dai and has been the Ao Dai designer for the last 10 years. She has confirmed her name through fashion shows at home and abroad.
