With an aim to bringing exciting experiences for tourists visiting Hue Ancient Citadel, from January 5, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opens the tour enjoying tea combined with visiting Hue Ancient Citadel.

On the morning of December 20, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened an e-ticket system and XR virtual reality experience service in the Imperial Citadel.

In the work of managing, preserving, and promoting the values of the Complex of Hue Monuments, the force of managers and guardians (working for the Hue Monuments Conservation Center) is considered “the royal mausoleum guardians” in the modern age.

That was one of the contents signed by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Korean Gyeonggi Traditional Music Association in the memorandum of cooperation between the two sides.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has approved of the decree on the establishment of Hue Heritage Conservation Fund and on the operation regulation. That is not only good news for Hue heritage but also for those who are interested in preserving and promoting the cultural and historical values of Hue Ancient Capital.

20 posters featuring pictures of heritage, cultural landscapes, typical global values of Hue heritage were recently introduced along the entrance and exit way of Phu Bai International Airport in a promotion campaign by Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

The Provincial Development Research Institute and Hue Monument Conservation Center would share data and information on the relics that is under the management and conservation of the center.

“We will propose to the provincial authorities to consider and coordinate with the French Embassy to Vietnam to agree on a draft of cooperation agreement with the French School of the Far East (EFEO) to exchange and cooperate in data searching and managing, establishing an electronic database and data on heritage digitization, that add more sources of original documents to Hue heritage,” shared Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) after returning from his business trip to France.

The Decree clearly states that the Hue Heritage Conservation Fund is a national fund established by the Government and assigned to Thua Thien - Hue province to directly manage, in order to mobilize resources to invest in the restoration, conservation, and development of Hue heritage value and investment in works and items that have not been funded by the state budget or allocated insufficient funds.

On the morning of October 10, the Tourism Department coordinated with Hue Monument Conservation Center to welcome a group of cruise tourists, bringing nearly 100 international tourists coming to visit Hue Ancient Capital.
