A two-place drop in the 2023 PCI (Provincial Competitiveness Index) in the rankings notwithstanding, many component indexes have improved significantly, speaking volumes for the province's efforts in improving the investment and business environment in recent years.

Economic and industrial zones in the province are key areas for attracting investment. However, in order to capture the attention of significant investors, it is necessary to create an open environment with many solutions to support businesses. Regarding this issue, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had an exchange with Mr. Le Van Tue, Head of the Provincial Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board.

Strongly improving the investment and business environment has been helping Thua Thien Hue gain a competitive advantage, and attract domestic as well as foreign investments.
