On the morning of September 29, Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports held a launching ceremony for the “Hue Books and Culture” Club at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street (Hue City), aiming to carry out activities related to books and culture.

On the morning of September 27th, FAHASA Company held the grand opening ceremony of FAHASA Hue Bookstore at Aeon Mall Hue, located at 8 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, An Dong Ward, Hue City. This is the second FAHASA bookstore in Hue and one of the largest bookstores in the FAHASA system nationwide.

This was the workshop held for the very first time by the Club “Hue Books, My Love” on September 21 at the space No.23-25 Le Loi St., Hue City.

From 300 entries in the preliminary round, the organizers selected 50 works by 50 students to compete in the finals of the 2024 children's drawing competition based on books, themed: "Hue through childhood drawings."

This message was conveyed to readers by Hoang Thi Tho, the author, at the launch of her two books titled “Ngay mai nho Hue ve tham Hue” (“Tomorrow, when you miss Hue, then come and visit Hue”) and “Xin di tu tho au” (“Travelling from the childhood”) (Thuan Hoa Publishing House), on the morning of June 23 at the headquarters of Thua Thien Hue Journalists Association (22B Le Loi Street, Hue City).

On June 18, a free reading station was launched on the train connecting heritages between Hue and Da Nang, featuring around 150 books set up by the Provincial Development Research Institute in collaboration with other units and projects.

Compared to their peers living in Hue City and the lowlands, children in the mountainous and remote Nam Dong and A Luoi districts are at a significant disadvantage in terms of access to information technology, books, and age-appropriate publications. However, thanks to the efforts of the education sector, local authorities, and schools, the reading spaces for children in these places are increasingly being supplemented with a variety of books and periodicals, helping them have more "good friends" during their breaks or extracurricular activities.

In the space of Hue French Institute at No.1 Le Hong Phong Str, the famous French fiction writer Bernard Werber had an exchange with the readers of the ancient capital and introduced two of his favorite works: “Ant Trilogy” and “Pandora’s Box”.
