In recent years, along with the orientation of building Hue into the first bicycle city in Vietnam, green transportation solutions have been increasingly emphasized, in which, the electric-assist conversion kit for bicycles developed by VierCycle, a young engineering team, is being considered a new solution, which is both modern and suitable for the characteristics of a small and peaceful city like Hue.

Hue City People's Council has agreed to add the construction project for a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over An Cuu River (a Y-shaped bridge) to the overall adjusted medium-term public investment plan for 2021-2025.
