Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) is managing eight items/sets of items that have been recognized as national treasures by the Prime Minister. The presence of these treasures not only enhances the appeal of the destination but also offers a chance for these valuable artifacts to "come alive" in contemporary life.

Phuoc Tich ancient village is surrounded by the O Lau river in Phong Hoa Commune, (Phong Dien District), which is 40km north of Hue City. The village was founded in 1470, during the reign of Le Thanh Tong. With its poetic scenery, valuable architecture of ruong houses and garden houses, and unique cultural institutions, etc., the village was recognized as a national relic in 2009. Currently, the functional agencies are preparing a dossier to propose the village to be recognized as a special national relic.

Amidst the scorching hot in April, Bao Chau’s photos, which recorded the scene of Pho Trach villagers (Phong Binh, Phong Dien) harvesting Bang grass (Lepironia articulata) in the green field, like gentle gifts for all eyes. Under Chau's photo angles, Pho Trach is rich and peaceful in every hand movement, the smiles of the villagers in each step, from harvesting Bang grass in the field, drying, preliminary processing the grass, to making it into valuable handicrafts.

On the morning of October 30th, Hue Central Hospital informed about the valuable above-mentioned award at “The Southeast Asian Laparoscopic Challenge 2023 through Colorectal Surgery Recorded Video” organized by the ASEAN Society of Colorectal Surgeons in Bangkok, Thailand, in late October.

Originality is among the crucial elements which makes Tuong Hue (Hue traditional opera) valuable.

With an aim to add more documents, photos and valuable resources of books to Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion), Hue Monuments Conservation Center launched a ceremony to donate and receive documents and books, etc., with the theme “The Imprint of Tang Tho Lau in Our Mind”.
