To reach sustainable tourism development, running towards green tourism is indispensable. Thua Thien Hue has special strengths of cultural, historical, and landscape, as well as environmental resources to develop tourism; and, carrying out cooperation to develop green tourism is one of the goals.

For the sake of sustainable preservation of the precious heritage of the ancestors, Hue Monuments Conservation Center has organized an exhibition and conducted an opinion poll regarding Planning documents for preserving, repairing, and restoring the Complex of Hue Monuments until 2030, with a vision towards 2050.

With two Chan May and Thuan An quay areas partially invested and in operation, and Phong Dien Seaport calling for investment, the seaport system in Thua Thien Hue aims to reach out and make regional connections.
