Despite its abundant potential, river tourism in Hue remains underdeveloped, lagging behind its available natural resources. The lack of services, transport infrastructure, and collaboration in river tourism development have all posed significant barriers, preventing this sector from thriving.

This was the focus of a training conference organized by the Natural Resources and Environmental Communication Center (under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak Province. The event was held for journalists, editors, and leaders from related organizations in the Central - Central Highlands region on August 15 in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak.

It is the largest in Southeast Asia, with special value in biological resources and countless gripping things in history and culture.... This area is seen as a "precious biological gem" that nature has bestowed on the ancient capital. With what existent, is it necessary to build an exhibition space or a museum for the Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system?

To reach sustainable tourism development, running towards green tourism is indispensable. Thua Thien Hue has special strengths of cultural, historical, and landscape, as well as environmental resources to develop tourism; and, carrying out cooperation to develop green tourism is one of the goals.

In the current conditions of the Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon, folk culture is an important resource to transform into unique and identifiable tourism products, with the following elements: village landscape, production culture and beliefs, festivals associated with folk performing arts.
