More than 142 visually impaired women have received vocational training, and over 68,000 gift packages have been distributed; these were among the notable achievements highlighted at the conference reviewing 10 years of implementing the coordinated support program for visually impaired women (2016 - 2026 period), and the five-year review of the Compassionate Homes program, held on the morning of June 2 at the City Association of the Blind.

In recent years, that beauty has become even more alluring thanks to the new coastal road and the recently completed bridge spanning the Thuan An estuary. Vietnam’s oldest cadastral record preserved in Hue

Hue is a land that bears the imprint of the southward migration and territorial expansion undertaken more than 700 years ago by the people of ancient Thuan Hoa. Very few documents reveal the timing of these migration waves or the organization and formation of Vietnamese villages in the region. Yet during fieldwork, I gained access to several ancient Han-Nom documents recording the migration, land reclamation, and establishment of villages and communes. Most notably is a cadastral record dating to the 9th year of the Dai Hoa reign (1451) under King Le Nhan Tong, compiled exactly 575 years ago.
