At the final round of the 8th Students with Startup Ideas competition (SV-STARTUP 2026), held from April 17th to 19th in Hanoi, the “An Vi Porridge” project by a student team from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, won Third Prize.

The 1st Nguyen Trai Open Table Tennis Club Team Tournament – 2026 officially kicked off on the morning of April 18 at the Table Tennis Arena, 150 Nguyen Trai Street (Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City), drawing a large crowd of spectators who came to watch and cheer.

According to the results of the 2026 national team selection exam for international and regional Olympiads, Phan Cong Dung, an 11th grade Informatics major student at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, has been selected for the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) team.

The Phui (“Freestyle”) Hue Gala (Phui Hue Awards) 2025 took place on the afternoon of March 28th at Hue Industrial College. The event was jointly organized by Twin Media and Co Do Media to honor outstanding individuals and teams who contributed to the vibrant development of grassroots football in Hue City over the past year.

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.

From March 25 to 27, the Ministry of Education and Training holds the national selection exams for high school students to join Vietnam’s teams for the 2026 international and regional Olympiads.
