The short film ‘Trong Thuc’ (‘The Drumbeat of Awakening’) is a project created by a team of students in Hue. By approaching tuong through the language of cinema, these young people are exploring new approaches to preserving and spreading cultural heritage.

On June 5, the University of Education, Hue University, organized a graduation ceremony, conferring doctoral degrees on 5 researchers who completed their PhD studies and master’s degrees on 289 students who fulfilled the requirements of their master’s programs. Among the new doctoral graduates was a candidate from Laos.

On June 1st, Hue City Association of the Blind, in collaboration with Sao Mai Center for the Blind, organized a training program on job application preparation and teamwork skills for visually impaired students, university students, and young association members in the locality.

On the evening of May 30, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held the final round of the 7th Science Innovation and Agricultural Startup Idea Competition 2026, drawing the participation of lecturers, students, scientists, and business representatives.

On May 23rd, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted held its ceremony to review the 2025-2026 school year and honor students with outstanding achievements. Attending the event was Mr. Hoang Khanh Hung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Head of the City Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization.

On the evening of May 23, the Youth Union of Hue University held the closing ceremony of the 1st Hue Students Football Tournament for the Intrase Cup (Hue Students SV7 2026).

In celebration of the 136th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on May 18, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Merit Scholarship Fund under the Hue City Association for Promoting Education held a ceremony to award scholarships to students with outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 National Excellent Student Competition. The award ceremony took place at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On the afternoon of May 10, the opening ceremony of Hue Student Football Tournament (Hue Students SV7 2026 - Intrase Cup), organized by Hue University, took place at the artificial turf field complex of Chi Lang High School.

The principal of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted announced that Hue City has three 12th-grade students exempted from the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination and granted priority direct admission to universities and colleges. All three students are from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On May 7, the University of Law, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to 821 full-time students in the 46th cohort majoring in Law and Economic Law.
