Born in 2003, H’La Vi Bkrông, an Ede student from Dak Lak Province, is in the final stage of her studies in English Language at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. Choosing Hue as the place to pursue her education, La Vi brought with her not only academic aspirations but also a love of music that had been nurtured since childhood.

On June 19th, at Hue Imperial Citadel, MONO, a singer, officially held a countdown event to launch his new music video, “Cong Tu Van Tho”.

As part of Hue International Music Week 2026, the stage along the Perfume River once again left a lasting impression on Hue residents and visitors on the evening of June 17th. The program was supported by the French Embassy and the French Institute in Vietnam.

On the evening of June 16, the riverside stage along the Perfume River in front of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted once again drew large crowds of residents and visitors to enjoy performances as part of Hue International Music Week 2026.

On the evening of June 15, as part of Hue International Music Week 2026, the stage by the Perfume River, in front of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School, continued to draw a large audience with performances by Ojos band (France), Kawanishi Natsuki (Japanese singer), as well as Vietnamese singer My Anh, and artist Matthew Ifield (Australia).

On the evening of June 14, thousands of audiences filled the riverside stage area along the Perfume River to relive the timeless songs of the late musician Trinh Cong Son during the special artistic program “25 Years of Remembering Trinh Cong Son”, held under the theme “Hue - Saigon - Hanoi”.

Against the backdrop of the Perfume River, the elegant melodies of Hue Royal Court Music intertwined with the youthful rhythms of J-pop performed by Japanese singer Kawanishi Natsuki, along with a series of impressive artistic performances from South Korea, set the stage for a vibrant and colorful opening ceremony of Hue International Music Week 2026 on the evening of June 13.

Moving beyond ceremonial settings and enclosed stages within heritage spaces, Hue International Music Week 2026, a highlight of Hue Festival 2026, is designed to engage the wider community through music.

On the morning of June 5th, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater in Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized an experimental performance program titled “Practicing Huế music notation and the interpretation method,” drawing the attention of researchers, artisans, and lovers of traditional music.

Premiering in August 2025 and surpassing 700 billion VND in box office revenue, the film “Red Rain” (“Mua Do”) created an unprecedented box office phenomenon for a Vietnamese political and historical film. What few people know is that the person behind the film's music, touching the hearts of millions of viewers, is musician Cao Dinh Thang - a young man born and raised in Hue.

From the bus’s upper floor, tourists were easy to contemplate Hue City at night and take photos as they passed by Dong Ba Market, Phu Van Lau, Hue Railway Station, or enjoy the beauty of a poetic Hue City illuminated by the lights from Truong Tien Bridge and the lights reflecting from the Perfume River, etc.

The music night "Dialogue with Trinh Cong Son - Love Found," part of the Hue International Festival Week 2024, that took place last weekend, brought the audience a surge of emotions as they were immersed in the melodies of the talented Hue musician under the pouring rain.
